Printed the words, in a variety of fonts to add interest, on tissue. Glued the tissue to the stencil and did several washes of paint over all.
I like the transparency of the cutout.
Here is placement for the #4. I hate, hate, hate that spot were the 4 hits Lou's shoulder. I need something else there but am temporarily out of ideas. Ideas anyone?????
Here is the back side of my latest PhrenMen ATC. This series of ATC's is done on left over paste paper I made in Albie Smith's classes.

Hi Suz,
ReplyDeleteI think all men "satisfy low expectations" haha. I'm loving your phren-men and can't wait for my envelope to arrive downunder... keep up the great work.
I really like what you're working on. You are so artsy! If you're at all into the day of the dead theme, check on the Dia De Bloglandia event shown on my blog.

Hiya,
ReplyDeleteRe: No 4.. can you carefully cut away that top layer of paper from around Lou's shoulder with your trusty craft knife.? If so, you can dab some paint over the top around the shoulder line - I love the card, and don't think it's bad at all. Yet, I can see what you mean - it would blend so nicely if it was 'behind' him or cut away.
Love your work, great depth and backgrounds are awesome!!
xoxoxo
ROFL, don't we all fulfill low expectations here and there? Your projects all look great!
