I would like to extend a HUGE Thank You to every Artist Friend, both new and familiar with BroknHeartArt, who visited and left such kind comments about my Journal Page from my last post. Everyone was so encouraging!! I greatly appreciate it!! Michelle Ward's Crusades are a truly wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, talented artists and learn new techniques! I have been working on making paper with deli wrap and tissue in preparation for Michelle's new crusade. I even did one page but I don't like it much so I may not post it.
! The Allman Brother's concert was fantastic!! The Palace Theatre is gorgeous. Here are some gratuitous architecture shots of the building:
Sam, soaked from the torrential rain we were cursed with on the ride to NYC.
The Allman Brothers!! We were seating in the Balcony, my camera zoomed in at maximum capability!! Next Thursday our seats are much closer and on the floor. I will post better pictures then along with names of the players and history of the band.. xoSusan
i quit smoking over 10 years ago after quite a few tries. but i'm so glad now that i don't have to rush outside after dinner, etc..... visualizing myself carting around an oxygen tank (which could happen anyway) helped. as did lots of walking. good luck & hang in there. glad the concert was good- look forward to hearing more! and we broke out the label maker this weekend- thanks- it was big fun!
ReplyDeletePutting down the smokes was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but well worth it! I didn't know what to do with my hands, so I played with LOTS of (believe it or not) silly putty!!! Hey, anything that helps, right?!?!? Am happy to hear that there's no blood clot. Take good care of YOU, My Friend! LOVED the pics of the theater and am happy to hear that you had a great time. Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteI do hope that you have a smooth transition into a healthier lifestyle. I know getting older makes changes harder....I started exercising in January and this 50+ body doesn't like to move like it used to!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know that the Allman Brothers were still together!
