For me anyway. So that is how I represented it in these 2 collages, spooky and mysterious. The first utilizes the background I made in Julie Prichard's Layer Love online workshop. Here it is:
The second Change collage is even scarier. There is a spooky skull hidden in there. LOL. The canvas is wrapped with painted deli paper. I LOVE making paper. Thank you again to Marianne for these fabulous images. The transfer of the large crow was done using Elmers Caulk and the transfer on the mulberry paper was spray alcohol.
I'm not really in love with either of these pieces, but I learned a lot, both what to do and what not to do.
Feel me??

Good luck. Good goal. When you get there, that is likely where you will find your soul mate. It might turn out to be yourself.
ReplyDeleteSista, I hear you.
ReplyDeleteHello, friend! I've been long in coming by and I'm sorry. I've been in my own selfish doldrums and avoiding familiar territory. I've felt so different since my dad died and going through what I did with him, that I didn't feel comfortable in all the familiar places. BUT, am trying to move forward and meld with my old self again a bit.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm here trying to catch up and jumped in on this one, just to say . . . maybe it's time to bat for the other team! hee hee I know you share my sense of humor mixed with partial sincerity. It wouldn't be unheard of. Women in their middle years are the ones most likely to discover they've been barking up the wrong tree for a long time. But if that's not it, the break is a good thing. I always think you find the real loves of your life when you least expect it and when you're not looking. So pretend to not have read that so you don't expect it or it won't work. You have to really not look and not expect it.
I'm off to read more!
